It’s Asian Awareness Week Guys!

It’s the Year of the Ox and, CASB’s kickin’ off the year with its annual Mahjong Tournament this Thursday, February 12th at SAC Ballroom A from 730PM-11PM! Sign up begins at 7PM some come early to reserve your seat at the Advanced Table. Don’t know how to play or just starting? That’s ok! Beginners Tables are available as well so come and sign up for those too! Free T-shirts and refreshments will be served and winner gets his/her own Mahjong set. Are you game?! See you there!

Hey guys it’s that time of the semester again! CASB is having its First General Body Meeting Wednesday, February 4th at SAC 302 from 830PM-1030PM! Stop by to learn what our club is all about, meet people and play games like Taboo, Cranium, Twister, Monopoly, and much more! We will also be informing you about our upcoming show China Night. If you’re interested in acting, singing, modeling, dancing, backstage work, or making props, sign-up sheets will be available to you. So come out for a free night of fun! =]

Hey Guys, it’s that time of year again! CASB will be holding its annual Singing Contest Thursday November 20th, 2008 in the Sac Auditorium from 730PM-1100PM. We have a great line-up, so come out and support our contestants! Free food and drinks will be served. Who will be this year’s contest winner!? Come and find out! Hope to see you there!

It’s that time again! CASB is looking for talented singers to compete in our annual Singing Contest taking place November 20th,2008. Think you have what it takes? Come audition for us! Please have two songs prepared when you try out. You can either bring a flash drive with the mp3’s so we can play it while you sing or you can choose to sing acapella. Duets are appreciated as well! Please also have two songs prepared together. The songs you choose do not have to be the ones you compete with if chosen. Audition dates will be:

Tuesday, November 4th, 830-10PM @ Main Library N3033
Wednesday,November 5th, 8-10PM @ SAC302
Friday,November 7th, 8-10PM @ Main Library N3033
Monday,November 10th, 8-10PM @ Main Library N3033

CASB is calling out all the poker players November 6th, 2008. Compete in our Poker Tournament taking place at SAC Auditorium from 730PM-11PM. Sign-up begins at 630PM and its first come first serve so come early to guarantee your spot! This is your chance to show your skills in Texas Hold’em and win prizes while you’re at it! Buy in is just a canned good for donation! Chinese poker tournament will also be taking place for a canned good as well. Come out, compete and start racking up those chips! Let’s see what you’ve got!

Hey guys! CASB will be hosting its first Cultural Carnival this Thursday, October 23rd from 730PM-1100PM at SAC BALLROOM A! Special thanks to VSA, JCA, SASA, ASA and LDT for co-sponsoring! There will be prizes, t-shirts, food, games and much more! Come out for game of fish pong, compete in the chopstick relay, or get henna done! Learn to make origami, watch Lion Dancers perform and experience some good cultural food! Come out for a night of fun, who knows maybe you can win one of our selected raffle prizes!
